Do you have any standards and regulations for GRP (fibreglass) grating to be used offshore on the Norwegian continental shelf?

Our requirements relating to materials are given in the facilities regulations section 12 on materials. This section covers, among other things, fire technical properties.

The facilities regulations section 78 on ATEX (Equipment and safety systems for use in explosive areas) is also relevant. Matters relating to static electricity, ignition source etc. should be duly considered. A relevant standard in this respect, is EN 13463-1.
