The consent applies to the drilling of a top hole for the Gullfaks Satellites (GFS).

The work is scheduled to begin on 1 June 2019 and is expected to last 20 days.

The objective of the activity is to drill top holes for wells 34/10-Q-2, 34/10-Q-3 GFS Rimfaksdalen using Transocean Spitsbergen in order to make them ready for production drilling.

Transocean Spitsbergen

Transocean Spitsbergen is a semi-submersible mobile drilling facility of the Aker H-6e type. It was built at Aker Stord, is registered in the Marshall Islands and is classified by DNV GL.

The facility received Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) in October 2012.
