The audit was conducted between 27 September and 6 October 2022.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to assess how Vår Energi is ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for the management of major accident risk and barriers in respect of the conversion of Jotun FPSO – with the purpose of achieving safe start-up and operation.
Result
In the audit, we identified one non-conformity relating to overpressure protection of storage tanks.
We also observed one factor that we have chosen to categorize as an improvement point. This concerned barrier management.
What happens now?
We have asked Vår Energi to report by 16 January 2023 on how the non-conformity will be addressed and for their assessment of the improvement point observed.
