The audit was conducted from 31 October to 3 November 2022.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify that Odfjell Drilling’s management of stability, watertight and weathertight integrity, ballast systems, dynamic positioning and waves in deck complied with relevant regulations.
Result
The audit identified three non-conformities. These comprised:
- Mechanical closure of watertight sliding doors
- Failure modes for ballast valves
- Missing indicator
We also observed two factors that we have categorized as improvement points. These concerned:
- Ambiguities in stability instructions
- Maintenance
What happens now?
We have asked Odfjell Drilling to report to us by 23 December 2022 on how the non-conformities will be addressed, and to give us their assessment of the improvement points observed.
