The audit was originally planned to be conducted at Transocean’s premises, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic it was undertaken using digital tools.
The objective of the audit was to verify by means of discussions and checks that Transocean’s management of structural safety and waves in deck complied with relevant regulations.
No nonconformities were identified.
One improvement point was identified related to the updating of documentation.
What happens next?
We have asked Transocean for their assessment of the improvement point observed. The deadline for this is set at 22 September 2020.
