The audit was originally planned as an offshore verification of the execution of the Nova module installation on board the Sleipnir crane vessel. Offshore verification was not performed because of travel restrictions due to Covid-19.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify that the planning and execution of the lifting of the module complied with the HSE regulations.
Result
No non-conformities were identified.
Improvement points were identified relating to:
- Verification of supplementary analyses for operation beyond predefined installation criteria
- Follow-up of competence for personnel involved in the lifting operation
- Verification of completion of phases of the operation
- The consequences of using an older version of DNVGL-ST-N001
- Traceability of bolt certificates
