On 5 March, we carried out an audit of Lundin and their project follow-up subsequent to the PDO (plan for development and operation) of the Solveig field.

The Solveig project is a subsea development with five wells tied back to an existing facility. The project is part of Lundin's Edvard Grieg tie-backs project, consisting of Solveig, Rolvsnes and associated modifications to Edvard Grieg, which is the host platform.

Objective

The objective of the audit was to verify that Lundin’s follow-up and management for ensuring safe start-up of marine operations, and the interface with the work on the host platform, are being carried out in accordance with their own requirements and with the regulations. We also wanted to verify that the operator is ensuring that there are no unintended negative HSE consequences, where, for example, time pressure and capacity issues compromise the quality of design engineering, HSE activities and other preparations planned to ensure safe start-up.

Result

Non-conformities and improvement points were identified during the audit.
