The audit was conducted from 27 May to 25 June 2020.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify that Equinor’s management of barriers at Snorre A, especially within technical safety, process safety and risk management, complies with the authorities’ requirements.
Result
The audit identified one non-conformity and one improvement point.
The non-conformity concerned deficiencies in the firewater system, while the improvement point concerned process safety in respect of compressor inlet overpressure.
What happens now?
We have asked Equinor to report on how the non-conformity will be addressed by 6 November 2020. We have also asked the company for their assessment of the improvement point observed.
