Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify that the design engineering and fabrication of the hull and living quarters for the Johan Castberg FPSO is meeting the company’s own requirements as well as the regulatory requirements. There was a sub-objective of monitoring how the company is fulfilling its supervisory duty in respect of the suppliers.
Result
One non-conformity was identified relating to:
- Non-conformity handling in the management system
In addition, two improvement points were identified in connection with:
- The company’s follow-up
- Management of projection execution
What happens now?
Equinor has been given a deadline of 28 June 2019 to report on how the non-conformity and improvement points will be addressed.
