On 23 January 2019, we carried out an audit of the prerequisites on which area contingency planning at Halten Nordland is based.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify that the prerequisites forming the basis of our consent
of 17 August 2017 concerning a change in area contingency planning for Halten Nordland have been followed up since our decision was made, and that it can be documented that the prerequisites and restrictions underlying the decision have been adhered to.
Result
One non-conformity was identified relating to prerequisites in the consent application, along with an improvement point concerning information about requirements and guidelines for the use of SAR and Medevac.
What happens next?
Equinor has been given a deadline of 23 August 2019 to report on how the non-conformity and improvement point will be addressed.
