From 30 September to 2 October 2019, we carried out an audit of Equinor and their follow-up of the design and manufacture of flexible risers for the Fenja development and connection to Njord.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify that new flexible risers were being designed and manufactured in conformity with the company’s own requirements as well as regulatory requirements, and how Equinor is following this up.
Result
No non-conformities were identified during the audit.
Improvement points were identified in connection with:
- Testing of materials
- Design assumptions
What happens next?
Equinor has been given a deadline of 15 December 2019 to report on how the improvement points will be addressed.
