Akofs has applied for an Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) for the AKOFS Seafarer well intervention vessel. This audit was part of our case processing of the AoC application.
The audit was carried out on 18 and 19 November 2019.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify whether the technical condition and relevant documents are in compliance with the requirements in the petroleum regulations.
Result
One regulatory non-conformity and three improvement points were identified. The non-conformity concerned gap analyses relative to relevant regulations, while the improvement points comprised analyses, ballast tank indication and the vulnerability of a helifuel tank.
What happens now?
We have asked Akofs to report on how the non-conformity will be addressed. We have also asked the company for their assessment of the improvement points we observed. The deadline for feedback is set at 28 December 2019.
