Objective
The objective of the audit was to assess how Aker BP is ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and its own requirements for the management of major accident risk, barriers and maintenance at Ivar Aasen.
Result
One non-conformity was identified, linked to the identification and maintenance of barriers.
In addition, improvement points were identified in connection with:
- Overview of and basis for decision-making
- Management and follow-up of temporary equipment
- Barrier management
- Penetrations and doors in fire walls
- Maintenance programme
- Labelling of equipment and systems
Aker BP has been given a deadline of 1 September 2018 to report on how the non-conformity and improvement points will be addressed.
