The audit was conducted between 26 September and 5 October 2017. The objective of the audit was to verify Aker BP's management of HSE factors in drilling and well activities onshore and on the Valhall field.
The audit identified non-conformities and improvement points in the following areas:
- Safety representatives and employee participation
- Working environment mapping following organisational changes
- Noise exposure harmful to hearing
- Chemical exposure
- Design of facilities
- Follow-up of the management system
- Employer's duties toward employees other than its own
- Training in OHAS matters
- Competence of personnel
- Simultaneous activities
- Follow-up of incidents
We have asked Statoil to report on how the non-conformities will be addressed by 1 February 2018.
