Objective
The objective of the audit was to assess management's administration and supervision of materials handling and scaffolding as well as maintenance of lifting equipment and scaffolding on board Gullfaks C.
Result
Two non-conformities were identified in connection with:
- Wire rope for lift – Offshore crane
- Proficiency certification
In addition, three improvement points were identified in connection with:
- Offshore cranes
- Wireline – crane
- Lifting gear
Statoil has been given a deadline of 9 May 2016 to report on how the non-conformities and improvement points will be dealt with.
