In 2022, Noble Drilling took over the ownership and operation of Maersk Drilling's facilities with AoCs.

The AoCs were originally given to Maersk Drilling, but transferred to Noble Drilling in connection with the merger. This concerns the following facilities: Maersk Intrepid Maersk Interceptor Maersk Invincible Maersk Integrator Maersk Reacher Maersk Innovator.

Noble Invincibl is a jack-up drilling facility of the XLE type, built at the DSME yard in Busan, South Korea in 2016.  

Decision

The Acknowledgement of Compliance means that Noble Invincible and relevant parts of Noble Drilling Norge AS's organisation and management systems are considered to be in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements for petroleum activities.

Our decision is based on the information provided in the AoC application concerning the technical condition of the facility and the applicant's organisation and management system, as well as the authorities' verifications and other case processing.

The validity of the Acknowledgement of Compliance assumes that Noble Drilling Norge AS ensures that the facility and relevant parts of the company’s organisation and management systems are maintained so as to fulfil the terms and conditions set out in the PSA’s decision.

Audits in connection with the AoC application

In addition to audits in connection with the processing of the AoC applications for the three sister facilities, Noble Intrepid, Noble Interceptor and Noble Integrator, we carried out audits of Noble Invincible in the areas of (reports in Norwegian are attached):
