Island Wellserver (see image) was constructed at Aker Yards Langsten in the Vestnes municipality. The facility is operated by Island Offshore Subsea AS, headquartered in Stavanger.
Island Wellserver is 116 meters long. The facility will, for a five year period, carry out well maintenance (light well intervention) on the Norwegian continental shelf for StatoilHydro.
