The Bideford Dolphin is a Semi Submersible Drilling Vessel of Aker H3 type built in Norway by Aker Verdal in 1975 and rebuilt at Harlan and Wolff Shipbuilding and Heavy Industries Ltd, Belfast with a complete new topside in 1998.
The unit is working on a contract for Hydro in the North Sea until May 2005.
Bideford Dolphin is owned by Fred Olsen Energy ASA and operated and managed by Dolphin AS.
