On a regular basis, we publish press releases, technical articles and regulatory interpretations, and a separate area on the website is the home page for the Safety Forum (www.ptil.no/sikkerhetsforum).
In addition, we distribute information about all our audit activities as separate articles on our website (Audit online). We do this both to make activities and prioritisations visible and to make it easier for the companies to use information for learning and transfer of experience. Most of the material is published in both Norwegian and English.
Audit online includes the following areas:
- Identical letter to the industry (audit-related)
- Our investigations into undesirable incidents
- Summary of our audit reports
- Notification of order and Order
- Brief consent bulletins
- Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) bulletins
The regulations section contains all relevant acts and HSE regulations in the petroleum activities, with associated guidelines and interpretations.
We make active use of our website to further highlight our role, prioritisations, activities, audit results and more. We consider the openness signalled by publication, and the amount of information thus made publicly available, to be a significant contribution to the understanding of risk factors and challenges in the activities.
