Songa Dee is a semi-submersible mobile drilling facility of the type "Mitsubishi MD-602". It was completed in 1984 and has previously held an AoC under the name of Stena Dee (linkbox). It was then owned and operated by Stena Drilling Ltd in Aberdeen.
Now the facility is owned and operated by Songa Management AS in Stavanger.
Songa Dee and relevant parts of Songa Management AS' organisation and management system are assessed to be in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements for the petroleum activities.
Our decision is based on the information given in the AoC application regarding the facility's technical condition and the applicant's organisation and management system, as well as the authorities' verifications and other processing.
The validity of this Acknowledgement of Compliance is based on the assumption that Songa Management AS will ensure that the facility and relevant parts of the company's organisation and management system are maintained, so that conditions and assumptions in the PSA's decision are complied with.
