Consent to drill in the Heimdal Vest area

26.02.2004 | The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway has granted Marathon Petroleum Company (Norway) consent to carry out drilling activity with the mobile rig Deepsea Delta.

The plan is to carry out the activity in the Heimdal Vest area (PL150) during the period March-May 2004.

This is the seventh exploration well on block 24/9. The plan is to drill the well as a vertical well to a depth of approx. 2250 m.
