Circulars

Circulars

We publish circular letters (see right-hand column).

A circular letter is an identically-worded communication sent to all or selected groups of players in the petroleum sector, depending on whom the content is relevant for.

They can provide guidance on regulatory provisions, other important information or requests for certain measures to be implemented.

A circular does not have the status of an order, and is accordingly not formally binding.

The PSA may follow up a circular with more formal action if it fails to have the desired effect.

Circulars are published on the authority’s website to help ensure that their contents are made known to the industry.
