The activity was directed at the preparedness and drilling and well technology disciplines, and was the last technical audit in a total of five to verify Maersk Drilling Norge A/S (Maersk) application for an Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) for the facility.
The objective of the audit was to verify preparedness factors associated with preparedness organisation, expertise, exercises and training, rescue equipment and other factors associated with preparedness.
As regards drilling and wells, the verification was mainly connected to operational factors, well technology and equipment related to drilling operations.
The audit activity was well-facilitated well by Maersk.
The results of the audit activity did not reveal factors that would lead to a notification of order.
